I for one not disappointed the 4th Test has been washed out... There's been a lot to enjoy from Rio over the past few days.

The Indians can't say the same! lol

After three days of rain in a five day test it would be easy for one to conclude that it will end up in a draw. That would be the logical conclusion against any of the eight other test teams except west Indies. If we have sun today, I can see India bowling them out before lunch for less than 125, and by close of play India 300 plus, declare after first hour on day five, with a lead of 250, and clean up West Indies by an inning before tea. It is a carefully selected weak team, and I am fully convinced that management agreed to surrender the series to India as part of their agreement to settle that $42 Million lawsuit, for the abandoned series.

Here is how a cricinfo.com commentator summarizes day #4 of the test between India and the West Indies at 10:25 AM, after play was cancelled for the day: "Pakistan fans can start uncorking their champagne bottles, for they're all but the No. 1 Test team."

Although I want to agree with him, knowing how this West Indies team is so weak and the records that we have surrendered thus far in the series, I shall hold my breath until sometime before tea tomorrow, before I agree.

Let's not forget some of the following records we have surrendered to India. 1. When India beat us by an inning and 92 runs in the first test in Antigua, it was the first time India had beaten us by an inning at home. 2. When they beat us by 237 runs in the 3rd test in St. Lucia, was the first time- a touring team had beaten us in St. Lucia. 3. It was the first time India had beaten us 2-0 at home, and first time they won a series against us at home, with a test remaining.

My point is, with all these records is it too late to see another record such as, India beating us after three and a half days washed by rain? Let's hold our breath till tomorrow.
