True.
But from their perspective, and from a managerial perspective, it was absolutely the right thing to do, they had to protect their participation. Why would the PCB make it easy for the WICB at the expense of their own team? It is the WICB that must be blamed.
Now, this is precisely why I feel the ranking system is flawed (ranking or no ranking system Pak has the worst ODI team) it shouldn't be left for the individual boards to decide, a system where each team plays the others home and away in a set schedule will truly determine the correct rankings.

Good point - that's how it's done at the Associate Level with the Intercontinental Cup and the like, but at the Full Member level everyone's subject to the whims of whatever the Big 3 schedule first.

Exactly. Notice how the BCCI for example, has padded their home test schedule with the aid of a statistic analyst to properly determine a schedule formula that will allow them to move towards number one.
The ranking system allows the big 3 to pad their way to the top.

I am not trying to make it look like Pakistan aint getting a beating,but look at the team and tell me if there's one good ODI player;they all seem to be quite good for tests,but not 20/20 or 50 overs.
I would like to admit to one fact,I love watching Pakistan,who wouldn't,their cricket culture is not like any other in world cricket.

True, they always seem to produce these exceptional tallents. I think the situation there that is discouraging teams from touring is hampering their development of players.
