Noel ?Sammy? Llewellyn Arrested- Drugs in JFK

FORMER West Indian footballer Noel “Sammy” Llewellyn, now living in Brooklyn, New York, was arrested at New York’s JFK International Airport earlier this week when he allegedly attempted to smuggle a kilo of cocaine that had been packed into fudge.
According to the New York Daily News, 64-year-old Llewellyn, who works for Delta Airlines, stepped off a JetBlue flight from Trinidad on Tuesday and presented his zebra-striped suitcase for inspection to United States Customs and Border Protection officers.

Although it failed this time, I'm still willing to give credit for the effort.

Look, this is a sad story, I am not going to speculate his motives here, but any 64 year old person doing this is a sad commentary indeed.

The last time I checked Trinidad was in the West Indies and the man is a bona fide West Indian.
