Congrats, fatherhood changed my life.
A couple words of advise, never take a 4, 6 and 8 years old on a Carribean vacation solo, and never listening to your wife, taking them back with two Violins and a Keyboard when they are 7,9 and 11, you will hear about it for the rest of your life.

children, for want of a better term, are a pain in the ass. they cry a lot, eat a lot and always want attention.
depending upon its disposition, you wont get a good night's sleep for 8-10 months. you will be constantly cleaning jobby, dribble and snot. when people come around you will say how wonderful it is to have a child even as it cries, jobbies itself or otherwise demand your attention.
in short there is no joy in having kids until they start to work. that is another story. Nevertheless enjoy fatherhood mate. even at your age somewhere in there may be a good day or two

Dont bother with that facter...for others its the most rewarding, joyful thing in the world
My advice is make nice with mother-in-law, sisters etc you are going need to recruit their help when the feller gets here: they are cruel task masters and highly demanding with no regards for your sleep or schedule.
