Gabriel, etc etc.
These bowlers would've terrorized(calm down Emir, Halliwell) batsmen in the 70's and 80's. Perhaps even the early 90's.

In the limitless bouncer era? Totally..it would have been bloodbath..WI would have been the most dominant team for eternity..

boy devin, the quality of your stupidity is rising... No matter how quick you are, class batsmen will put bad balls away... Ever hear about Uton Dowe?

Lloyd's captaincy would have galvanized them into an abbattoir!

The only reason to your post is to make up numbers right???

The two kids just can't get over the West Indian dominance of the 70's and 80's... they try and trash it all time but fail dismally !
I suppose the same could be said for any pace bowler then i.e. Collins, Dillon, Sanford.
Tino didn't have brains.
Fidel Edwards & Jerome Taylor were inconsistent, great on their day but then couldn't play a string of matches without getting injured or clobbered for runs.
Roach & Gabriel still have time.

I'm still waiting for a logical explanation as to why the West Indies went from being a powerhouse for 20 years, and then spent the following 20 years as one of the worst teams in cricket.
There is no dearth of fast bowlers in the Caribbean, so how is it that for 20 years the West Indies could field 4 quality fast bowlers, but for the next 20 years they couldn't produce one?

No, only guys with genuine pace.

One rule change fcuked the WI fast bowlers, if you have to believe the mourners around here.

Which only strengthens the point I've made repeatedly.

If the Australian bowling attack of McGrath,Gillespie,Lee and Warne were so successful in alleged batting favorable conditions and limited bouncer laws, what are West Indians braying about?
