Yep, in the Caribbean for sure. Funny i watched a couple of BPL matches (couldn't find wagons to join here); not a single BB match and i have no idea whats happening in South Africa......guess you've been following.

Well bro, in the meantime i'm enjoying what i'm seeing so far.

4.45pm Play abandoned. Just to much rain, and we are officially done for the day. it was proper Test cricket while it lasted. Batsmen digging in, bowlers persisting with testing lines and lengths. Jackson Bird broke that threatening Younis-Azhar partnership, followed by sending Misbah back. Australia have the upper hand after losing the toss

No updates on Mark Nicholas' health yet. I will hopefully bring you good news tomorrow morning

Remember that play starts early tomorrow. At 10am. We have lost 39 overs today, and hope to make up 28 of them over the rest of the Test. Do join us tomorrow

Bird to Azhar Ali, FOUR, shot of the day.A convincing drive played on the up.. and through Bird's left leg aiming to stop it. Beautiful shot. Weight coming forward to impart timing to that shot. How good have Pakistan been this morning?

Review time

Australia review: Loud, loud appeal on this. Taken by Wade behind the stumps. The ball nips in and is through Shafiq. Cuts him into two. Fair delivery. Nothing on it in the infra-red images there. Snicko has the on-field vidicated. The ball actually hits the flap of the front pad there and is caught by Wade behind. The third umpire checks

Not out

Until ICC institutes 4 day 80 or 100 overs per day matches that carry no more draws. In other words 80/100 OTC or ODT. A test match is already limited to 400 overs per se.

Maddinson to Azhar Ali, 2 runs, there it is!! His first in Australia
there is the hundred in a Boxing Day Test. Maddinson gets too straight, and he works it past short fine for a couple. Does a little hop, removes the helmet, hugs his partner, raises his bat, acknowledges the crowd and his team-mates, and then does the sajda

Hazlewood to Sarfraz, out Caught by Renshaw!! This was coming. The Aussies had tied down Sarfraz. The pressure got to him as he pokes a delivery that could have been left alone. Hazlewood draws the batsman forward with a good length delivery just outside off. Sarfraz looks to defend from the crease and gets a thick outside edge to

I agree but think they will wait on Azhar's double. It's day 3 and with the weather on and off they should start thinking of bowling out Oz twice and see if they could level things up......

Wahab Riaz to Warner, OUT, they review a not-out call on the catch down the leg side. It's close to being a no-ball but he is fine by centimetres. Warner looks to get inside the line and pull it fine again, and this time Sarfraz goes for the catch. Replays show if there is something it has to be the glove. The HotSpot is not extremely conclusive but there is a smidgeon of a mark on the lower glove. The RTS shows a little blip too. Both are at the same time. Enough for the third umpire to overrule the on-field call. Warner almost gives himself out looking at replays, walking halfway down the wicket. I think he knew he felt it on the glove

DA Warner c †Sarfraz Ahmed b Wahab Riaz 144 (143b 17x4 1x6) SR: 100.69

50,000+ only on the first day, Boxing Day...lots of empty seats today.

The Big Bash match at Perth had much more spectator support than the third and fourth day of this Test match.

Well done, Azhar, on an outstanding double hundred.
cool

Sohail Khan to Smith, 3 runs, short and wide, Smith reaches it with a ladder and cuts it away forward of point. Matches Warner with century No. 17. Removes his helmet after finishing the third, kisses the badge, raises his bat, soaks in the moment

Lyon to Asad Shafiq, OUT, Lyon produces another before tea. Is it that field change that has brought about this wicket? He has been defending to off solidly so far, but now with silly mid-off there he leaves his crease. He leaves the crease too early and Lyon shortens the length. He flicks it to leg where Handscomb stays low in his stance. The ball hits the left hand, then the armpit, and they Handscomb hands come around when the ball is on its downward flight

Asad Shafiq c Handscomb b Lyon 16 (31b 1x4 0x6) SR: 51.61
