This Leverock fella?
This team weak bad though. Weakest team in the tournament. The Star Studded Bajans making hay.
Ok it is a K Leverock. Wrong guy.
Waste of time this team best we include a u-23 developmental team in the tournament.

The star-studded Leeward made hay of the lil boys yesterday, with a top shelf batsman beating the shite out of them.

We are not star-studded, that is for the Bajans. Look stars: KB, Carlos, Jonathan Carter, AShley night nurse, Suliemann Benn, Hope... Just to name a few.

I thought you'd be happy to have a team weaker than the Leewards, the traditional doormats, in the tournament.

bye the way, Leverock is of Bajan descent, maybe a relative of Alvin Greenridge.

Kamau Leverock is nephew of Dwayne Leverock, I believe....
In reply to voiceofreason
Nephew.

Kamau, I played against him this summer. Hard hitting batsman and can probably clock 85mph, but sprays the ball all over the place.
He is Sluggo's nephew, currently plying his trade in the UK. Kamau is the only Bermudian selected for the ICC Americas team, they didn't select any last season.
As for the weakness of the team, well the only way for a team to improve is to play better teams. Anybody suggesting they're a "waste of time" should have been in full support of the Windies being in the two-tier Test structure and sticking with matches against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
Kamau Leveock is: -
Alvin Greenidge's nephew.
Dwayne Leverock's nephew.
His mother is Dwayne's twin sister.
Hi father is Dave Greenidge who is
Bajan living in Bermuda.
Dave Greenidge played for Bermuda
National team and present Masters Team
He is an opening batsman.
Also a medium pacer.
Some people (including me) believes Dave
is a better batsman than Alvin.
Pure class and never swipes
even when playing T20 he strokes the ball.
Hope this helps.

Dwayne Leverock's nephew.
Is Dwayne the 400lb Bermudian, the one that's way heavier than our own sudden?
In reply to Drapsey
Yes.
You can see his outrageous catch on YouTube
Bermuda versus Hindia in 2007 World Cup

Thanks.
I can vividly recall the big guy and the spectacular catch, just wasn't sure of the name.
In reply to TanteMerle
It was a really good catch.
Outrageous was the small earthquake and 10 minute celebration that followed
The boy has good pedigree though.
In a hundred years they'll still be playing that clip. Big man's got his spot in history.
Hoping the youngster can make his own mark some day soon, he's got a good support system in place.
