Move aside Leadfoot Gayle...

There's a new don in town!

Indian cricketer Mohit Ahlawat hit an extraordinary 72-ball triple century in a local Twenty20 match in Delhi.

The 21-year-old hit 39 sixes, including five off the final over, as he posted a round 300 and his team Maavi finished on 416-2.

His total dwarfs the top-tier record of 175 scored by Chris Gayle in the 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL).

You see the name of the tournament? "Friends Premier League".... lol lol lol

But the future looks great for him based on his past record for Delhi!!!

Ahlawat played three first-class matches for Delhi in October 2015 alongside India internationals such as Gautam Gambhir and Ishant Sharma.

He was dropped after scores of 1, 4, 0, 0 and 0 in his five innings.

I did laugh when I saw this - who was bowling - his grandma?

Dis is de real laugh!!!!

The park is surrounded by multi-storied houses and the square boundary on either side is hardly 25 yards. The cover boundary is less than 20 yards and batting is from one end only because the organisers fear backlash from the residents if the big hits repeatedly smash their window panes. lol lol

Given the size of the ground, an individual score of 400 may not be beyond a decent first-class cricketer.

Reminds me of my first century ---- at the Prison's Oval on Tower Street.

The smallest recognised ground in Kingston. Most people don't even know a ground is there...
