Hopefully 2017 will not be a repeat of 2016. I'm watching you Stevie Wonder.

So sorry to learn of Al Jarreau's passing. For me, Al Jarreau was by far the finest all round male vocalist I have ever heard and I have been listening to just about all of them since the late 1950s. It is often said that the human voice is the best musical instrument there is.If this is so, then no one used that instrument better than Al Jarreau. I will miss him.RIP Great One.

Every individual will have a different criteria in judging music and voices,I never bothered about voices, and which was the best I ever heard. My judgement may not be the same as the next person, but I have some of my father's music and the best voice I ever heard was Nat King Cole,Johnny Mathis and Adam Wade,in that order.
RIP Al Jarreau.
