did Jagdeo, Luncheon etc get charged?
In reply to Curtis
That would be nice - details
They were arrested and let loose, thats what I saw on the news anyway
The current government in Gy are on a which hunt, as simple as that.
When Cheddie came to power he could have done the same but, like Mandella, he sought reconciliation.
It is starting to look like we are seeing an emerging dictatorship in Gy.
They are practicing the shock and awe theory preached by the Chicago boys.
-Install your regime.
-have them deregulate and give off everything to multinationals
-bomb or tax the population to bits or sometimes both
-construct a brutal military to keep the population in check
-go after any opposition and destroy them
Look at every Foreign backed and installed government everywhere and you see the same pattern.
The people of Gy must resist and fight against any sign of a dictatorship.

Good grief - get some spelling lessons. It's witch hunt, Cheddi & Mandela.
In reply to Chrissy
seriously, that is the most important thing you deducted form my post?
smh..
It has always been my opinion that anyone breaking the law should be held accountable.
However the developments in Guyana is quite interesting. SOCU seems to want to play loose with the rules, and target mainly opposition members.
What they did to Roger Luncheon was dastardly and that will come back to haunt them. Roger is a decent man. Come on Clive Thomas, I thought better of you. Shameful.
Unless they charge these people and prosecute them, then everything is smokescreen.
Good points Darkness. Never mind Chrissy and the spelling check!

What's the official status of the action? Charged or continued investigation?
