Again, Kohli isn't pulling his weight- according to some, he is suppose to be the best. Performing against the best opposition of the day is a requirement if you want to be the best.
So, I will maintain, Kohli is a good batter, he has the potential to become very good, but he is not in the same class of Smith, Root, AB and Hashim- these are the best of the current lot.

You made some good points that I do not dispute and in fact I concur with some. The context of my comments must be seen in light of some peeps in here who rate Kohli ahead of Sachin and Dravid.
I stand by what I said, Kohli is good but not yet the class of Sachin or Dravid- time will tell.
He is not scoring in this series and it is telling, he must score against the best opposition, what he did in the past is gone, great batters do it consistently and when it is needed the most.
India needed his runs, they have to bat last and 360 for 6 chasing 400 plus isn't a commanding position.
I noticed you a very quick to defend Kohli, if I did not know better I would have believed he was a West Indian player.
I would like to see the same defense when Indo Guyanese posters in here diminish Lara and others, when some Indian posters in here say bad and untrue things about the entire region.
