...overnight. What we unreservedly expect is that the WICB, in particular, the new persons at the head of the engine room recognize and appreciate the problems plaguing West Indies cricket and most importantly DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM.
The cricket brains trust must be complimented for their efforts thus far in their quest to improve the performance of the West Indies cricket team. One does not expect that all your moves will bear fruit but you must continue to be fearless and decisive in your decision making.
Stuart Law, Jimmy Adams and Johnny Grave I tip my hat to you...you have shown that you have the gumption to do what is needed to get the job done. I hope you will remain unhindered and unencumbered as you seek the betterment of the team.
Kudos to the triumvirate.

We should not expect West Indies to be world beaters...

What about competitiveness. Should we at least expect them to be competitive?
In reply to Larr Pullo
Indeed Larr.
But If I were in their positions, my priority would be: the recruitment of a cadre of professional cricketers who have the aptitude to learn fast as a member of the team, who are committed and focused on the pursuit of improving team performance and achieving the desired goals.
Competitiveness will automatically follow in an organised, cohesive, goal oriented and motivated unit.
Wow, what a commentary!

Indeed, just what the WICBC folks want to hear their "fans" say. Notice, the expectation ON results is placed squarely on the players and coaches.
So, Massa- the WICBC, has nothing to do with results-
Massa Day not done in the WI.
