Serena Williams is 20 weeks pregnant
In reply to Chrissy
When did she get married?
In reply to Drapsey
Huh?
20 weeks
In reply to Chrissy
End of career?
She's not 27 anymore.
In reply to Drapsey
Devin's child?

Several notable tennis stars returned successfully to competitive tennis after giving birth. What does having a baby have to do with her career ending?
In reply to DukeStreet
Age.
She might still play but she won't be #1.
In reply to black
Serena was already doing things on the tennis courts that players much younger than her couldn't and weren't doing. One thing I never did was ever count her out.
Bastard child. Poor role model for young girls who see her as their hero.
Shameful.
In reply to nitro
U right to be ashamed of yourself
In reply to Chrissy
Is today April 1st??
In reply to Chrissy
Yuh gotta be real fit to pull that of.
Congrats Lil' Sis. No wonder Big Sis has stepped up to the plate "to hold Reign" until about US Open 2018, when your would be expected.
FAKE NEWS
In reply to Dukes
I was hoping it was fake, but apparently is not Fake news, I heard it in a decent radio station today.'
I was thinking gosh I hope she is married because it is not good for a star of her legend with tens of millions of young women of color see as a role model.
Children in single parent home in minority families do not fear well and every child deserves both parents living together as a family unit.

She's engaged to be married. The dude is in love with her. People like that rapper, Common, threw her away saying she was "too clingy" but looks like this current dude is real.
In reply to Emir
please...so what if she married or not....

Okay, good to know, I am a big fan if hers and she has all the qualities to be a great mother, but as I said, the child need two parents at home.
I reddit somewhere ....ah pregnant she pregnant.
once you go white, you take flight on United. Not leaving unless dragged out
Kim Clijsters won the US Open after having a little one.
Who'd bet against Serena winning Slams after pregnancy?
In reply to Tryangle
How old was Kim then?
I won't rule anything out with Serena but she's approaching 36.
In reply to nitro
You are a sick POS.
Why dem not tying the knot? She is 36 and going going ......
In reply to Kay
Didn't she announce her engagement at the start of the year?
In reply to Chrissy
Looks like Kim won at 26 and 27. So yeah, admittedly it's a big difference in age, but then again Kim is no Serena. And without anybody dominating the WTA in her absence, the field's likely going to be wide open come 2018 when I'd expect Serena, if she desires, to return to the court.
In reply to Tryangle
Is your question meant to answer mine?
In reply to ProWI
Great, she is getting married.
That is the way.
In reply to Kay
Yes, sorry if any confusion - was trying to do a double on the answering bit
With regard to getting married or not, I think that when you're a celebrity especially one with big ol' paychecks coming in, it doesn't matter as much. Marriage doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get good parenting out of the deal... especially if you're getting married just to have two parents in the (physical) picture. Get married for the right reasons, or you'll be headed to divorce court not long afterwards.
