Is the Future of the US being pushed into the hands of Generals?

After the better part of four months it is clear as a cloudless day that Trump set out to gather around him men whose aim – like his – is to feather their nests and enrich their own pockets, the checks and balances in the US Constitution be damned.

Trump’s kleptocracy has seen a number of high-profile firings, several would-be appointees refusing to accept their appointments, one or two recusals, and then the abrupt firing by the President yesterday of the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigations. This, by the way, is the very Department that is investigating the President and his kleptocrats regarding possible Russian connections.

To all this, nobody seems to know what would be a workable solution. People are throwing up their hands and talking about the need for a Special Prosecutor and a Grand Jury.

(I pause to try and remember how long it took them to appoint a Special Prosecutor when a recent President soiled a certain blue dress in the White House – an act, by the way, that does not involve either national security or constitutional violation).

Several other countries in the Western hemisphere know the answer to this and have acted even in cases where there was either far less need or no real need at all! Their armies took over and ousted their President.

And so it came to me this morning that with so many wild things happening since the advent of the 45th US President, and no real answers in sight, that it might not seem too wild to envisage US Generals declaring that the time has come to save their country and Constitution.

A US military takeover? Too far out?

No Military Takeover.

The Donald has the Military Leaders covered. I can recall during campaign speeches when the Donald emphasized that topic of how many Generals were aligned.

Looks now like very good planning.

The suckers (nitro and company) have been had!

More flim-flam on his part. There were also several more generals who were not backing him.

Indeed, most of them do not back him.

Remember this is the man who said Obama wiretapped him and Obama was not born in the US, and (according to the Toronto Star) has told 231 other lies....

...So far!!!

With the Supreme Court stacked, the Departments stacked and losing their leaders, the Congress heavily tilted, it might just be that nothing can be done without the intervention of the military.

Serious Thing!
