...and a mom who will not give up on her son


AN Arima family that lost a beloved son to a brain injury, has stepped forward to help security guard Rakesh Ramkaran who was shot in the head by criminals, and left paralysed.

Krystle Abdool said her family first read of Ramkaran in the newspapers and have been following his progress.

The Abdool family lost a son and brother, Kareem, who suffered a massive heart attack in 2015 and was pronounced dead at the San Fernando General Hospital.
