Presidential pardons

Isn't that the biggest crock of shit? It can be used to correct some injustices but it can be misused, as we saw with Nixon and now possibly, Trump.

No it is not. No President has every tried to pardon himself or his children.

Many petty criminals and many others who were unjustly convicted or already served long prison sentences were pardon over the years.

Yes, I admit some well connected crooks got off but that alone is not a reason to say this Presidential privilege is crap.

Dude, I know that, Nixon was pardoned by Ford after Ford became President and Trump has not done anything yet. But, the possibility exist that, Trump or someone in the future will try to test the limits of executive pardons. If Trump attempts to pardon himself, it will immediately go to court for them to decide if it can be done, legally.

So what? Don't get confuse. Every one of those folks served extensive time in prison.

And none of those were family members.

Do you really understand the issue here?
