Law's complete Interview
In reply to jacksparrow
You mean he said more than "Gayle and Samuels have great experience to contribute"?
It's exactly what I've been saying... It's the PITCHES!!!!
In reply to DIEHARD
Always was that, produces mediocre batsmen and bowlers

Can't say there isn't much I disagree with him here on.
If he can get the full support of the admin behind him maybe he can lead the turn-around.
One thing he pointed out is that the turn around won't be swift and I agree and it will be a work in progress and if the player on the field can handle that that will be great too.

He lucky he's not West Indian he would be out of a job right now
Good, I look forward to hearing more comments like these from our head coach, where he articulates what is going on with the team, and sharing some of his thoughts with us.
Laawd!!! that is such an apt description of a format some WI folks boasts so much of. I often feel bad when people label us as T20 kings.....
In reply to Kay
What's wrong with being the best?
Better than being worst in all formats.
This is the only format we've been adequately prepared for

If it's the pitches, why do we blame the players and anyone else other than CWI?
In reply to Walco
How else can we make a case for our homeboys if we dont attack players from other territories?
In reply to Baje
I think Mr. Law has come up with the perfect excuse for team failures. And its something that resonates with fans.
I would be really interested in finding out about the benchmarks or incentive clauses in Laws two-year contract. Dont know why international head coaches accept two-year contracts, or why CWI would hire a new coach and have his contract term end just prior to a World Cup.

I saw the stars in England recently they look horrible
In reply to silver
Well according to Mr. Law and Order,

STFU!
Two more "stars"....Ramdin & Dwayne and we might well have won the series.

lol lol lol I think Mr. Law has come up with the perfect excuse for team failures. And its something that resonates with fans.
It might be a perfect excuse, but for many years, I have believed that pitches have hampered the development of ourbatsmen and made our spinners look like world beater.

A little taller and you might have a girlfriend

He is speaking as an outsider, with no family, friend or cultural influence and nails most of the problems contributing to the teams lack of success, that is in his jurisdiction.
In reply to jacksparrow
It's obvious you have been brainwashed
In reply to jacksparrow
We should remember the reason for the dismissal of Phil Simmons
Something had to give, so I credit Jimmy Adams and the CEO for putting some sense to DD and his board.
You sir are probably comfortable with the state of the Windies ala the administration!
In reply to openning

'I have embraced the fact that these guys can play extreme cricket'
