So how does the one spinner selection looks now? After seeing how the pitch is playing on the first day the Selectors have to hope that Bishoo bowls well or he stays fit for both Test.

Well if you read the comment, I said that, the Selectors have to hope he bowls well or he stay fit for the two Test, because both Test will be played at the same ground on a spinning pitch and they have put themselves in the situation where there is no other option. Instead of Reifer, the Selectors could have selected Warrican, Nurse or Jacobs for insurance.

Having said that, we've got two or three guys who can crank it up to over 90mph and that pace it doesn't really matter where you play, it's hard to bat against."
90 MPH and Reverse swing coming up in dem skunts

Chase is not a proper spinner.
Miller is.
Holder should bat at seven since the other batsmen can't make runs against Zimbabwe.
Jacobs,Miller,Khan,Permaul,Nurse...tek one or two.

We going to a place with dry wickets prepared for spinners. We select 6 pacers and 1 spinner. Dumb as ever. These are the same wickets that make our spinners look like world beaters.. Miller should have been there, I think he would clean up under these conditions.
For next match we could have sat Dowrich and play Miller

Good choice,he can also bat a bit.

Or play Miller instead of Gabriel on a pitch like this.
Gabriel is a horses for courses bowler. And this ain't his course.

Gabriel fast enough to scare a few of these Zimbaweans. Also if the pitch starts to wear its hard to handle that pace when it lands in a crack
