if you read the posts on this MB, how the fack have you failed to add the googly to your repertoire? Come on man. You bowl a lovely legbreak, even if you bowl a full toss or long hop a few times, the overwhelming majority of your deliveries are a joy to watch.
Good flight, more than enough turn, at times massive turn, good speeds. The slider may be a more difficult delivery for him to bowl because it may more often than not end up being a long hop. At least with the googly you can continue to toss the ball up and give the delivery a considerable amount of flight.
Come on Bishoo, it's never too late.

In all seriousness, re: Bishoo....

Shane Warne did not bowl googlies
In reply to Devin
Don't you think if he could...he would have done so long time
Why can't some top batsmen hook?
Why can't some top bastmen comfortably handle short pitch bowling?
Why can't some top batsmen competently play spin?
Why can't all fast bowlers get the ball to reverse swing?
Why do some fast bowlers never bowl the yorker?
Some journalist should ask Bishoo why he is not bowling the googly...there must be a real good reason
In reply to Devin
My googly turns more than my leg break

The man is doing quite well with his style of bowling. WI won a test Match and Bishoo took 10 wickets to help WI cause, instead of congratulating the player, the only thing you have to offer is criticism?
Shame on you and others like you!
Congrats WI, Big Ups to Bishoo, Shai, Chase and Braithwaite!
Shane Warne - King of spin masterclass.
I say no more about Shane not being able to bowl a googly.

In reply to Courtesy... the wrong one (I guess is the googly) ... looks hard to master.
Warne endorses having a leg-spinner in your team. Says they always find a way to take wickets.
Bishoo, Warnes says it is easy to bowl a googly, come on man, where is yours?
Yes whats up with this googly shit?...the man get 9 facking wickets....just say well bowled......
In reply to Narper
Ive seen him bowl the googly, not very often, maybe hes just not comfortable bowling it and thats ok...dont know what is the big issue with googly..Bishoo gets big wickets..give the man some credit say well bowled.
In reply to kingie With the googly he would have taken all 20 wickets
In reply to Ridge... you say it like is joke.
In reply to kingie... because it would make him much better. CONGRATS BISHHOO well bowled.
Congrats Windies and Bishoo but u should only be selected for Tests
Hola...all you realise that the man short..he arm short ,his palms small....thus he does more finger spin...where does the googly and wrong un come from again????.m go to the head of the class...yup...MRS Palmer as the lil boys does say.
Adios

I think he bowled it. Just not that much and he didn't have the best googly. Mushtaq Ahmed, Kaneria, Qadir had much better googles than Warne I believe. But he did bowl it occasionally.

I have heard Shane say that Stuart MacGill worked with him to bowl the googly. He practiced a few but was never that comfortable with it, so he didnt use it.
Shanes best ball was that straight skidding one when the guy was set up with a big turning leg break.
Bishoo needs one of those.
Brother Warney bowled the googly very often. I hope you realize googly and wrong un is the same damn thing.
OK my apology,...I did not realize the video is fake. Sometimes I wonder...
Sorry for posting a fake video..

Dude, Warne bowled every flipping thing there was to bowl. He probably didn't need to bowl the wrong-un/googly often because he had a brilliant flipper/top-spinner, and a masterful slider. Besides that, Warne was a massive turner of the cricket ball.
I am 100% certain that I've seen Bishoo bowl a googly a few years ago. And it was a very good googly, the kind of googly that made me say "ok, we're in business now." He just doesn't seem to have the confidence to bowl it.
In reply to Baje... well the video I just watch he said it was easy to bowl. See The Courtesy's link.

Man, batsmen have so many things to deal with, and so much going on inside their heads. A batsman has to combat 4-5 bowlers, each usually presenting a unique challenge.
In reply to Devin... think that's the one that comes out a full toss, if he could get the length right ... maybe then.
In reply to kingie
Absolutely...that is my point
If he is effective enough without a googly in his armour then so what.
As I attempted to point out...some good fast bowlers very rarely attempt the yorker
Some good batsmen never hook
But so what
Bishoo's bowling average would be closer to 30 rather than 40 had he developed a googly by now. He would probably be considered a very good leg spinner.
In reply to Devin
The argument, as you put it is that -
While bowling a googly won't guarantee his success, he "should" be able to bowl it given he's age 31.
As Narps said, he can bowl it, just doesn't have the confidence in it.
But his biggest asset is his slider, if he can get that one going then he is a major threat, especially with his round arm action.
