So Spacey
In reply to Priapus
good name to out with Kevin Spacey
An article in The Sunday Times Magazine in 1999 stated that Spacey's "love affair with acting, and the absence of a visible partner in the life of an attractive 40-year-old, has resulted in Esquire magazine asserting two years ago that he must be gay."[62] He responded to the rumors by telling Playboy and other interviewers that he was not gay,[63] and telling Lesley White of The Sunday Times,
I chose for a long time not to answer these questions because of the manner in which they were asked, and because I was never talking to someone I trusted, so why should I? Recently I chose to participate because it's a little hard on the people I love.[62]
In 2007, Gotham magazine quoted Spacey saying:
I've never believed in pimping my personal life out for publicity. Although I might be interested in doing it, I will never do it. People can gossip all they want; they can speculate all they want. I just happened to believe that there's a separation between the public life and the private life. Everybody has the right to a private life no matter what their professions are.[58]

he's now an actoress?

He was abused etc...

Just another #MeToo victim. His role in House of Card should have alerted anyone than he leaned to the other side.
Now, his apology has stirred up an even greater storm of anger.
"How dare you, Kevin Spacey"

Not surprised, these homosexuals are nasty perverts.

As you know, correlation does not equal causation. Being gay and being a pedophile are different things.
In reply to Dan_De_Lyan
He's effectively tried to excuse his behaviour by suggesting his personal demons of being gay (or the struggle therein) led to him trying to make unwanted advances on a minor.
I think the LGBT community are right to call him out on it.
In reply to Tryangle
Yep. As Wanda Sykes twitted " you can't 'choose' to live under the rainbow".
In reply to Tryangle
He never said nor implied that. Check my post above. He blamed that incident which came to fore on possible moment of drunkenness, not about demons within
In reply to ProWI
He could have left it at that, but he brought in his 'coming out' story at the same point. He's inadvertently tied them together.
If he left at as being drunk, then fine. House of Cards still gets cancelled, but it's now simply another case of #MeToo and things get dealt with accordingly.
