Ramdin excited by young Redforce team’s potential

T&T Redforce captain Denesh Ramdin is hopeful that the young team under his care in the new season of the Professional Cricket League 4-Day tournament grows from strength to strength with his guidance.

Ramdin hammered a first innings hundred and followed up with a half-century in the second innings to earn the Player-of-the-Match award, as his side earned a draw with fierce rivals Barbados Pride in their first-round match at Kensington Oval.

TT don't have cricketers who can play 4 day cricket, well Ramdin was there to save them.We have to wait to see how the new boys do, and whether they become good 4 day batsmen and bowlers.

I can understand you and "che" are very happy bunnies, but Bimmers beating any West Indian team is no big deal.I and everybody else on this MB know that Cricket is allyuh 1st,2nd and 3rd favourite game. You see in TT cricket is the second or may even be the 3rd popular game.First is football, what have you ever done on the world stage,TT was the first to qualify for an under 20 football WC,also qualified for under 17 WC.lets talk about Hockey our women have just qualified for a hockey WC in Germany, our men have also qualified for the hockey WC also in Germany. We also shared the WC netball champions with New Zealand in 74.Our athletes always do better than yours,so you and che go siddung under a coconut tree and fret.
We have qualified for a WC in 2006,came as close as can be in 1990,was robbed in 74 of a qualification by Haiti.Qualified for 2 under 20 WC,and 2 under 17s.

lol lol lolWhat's yuh only sport again? sad

Just to correct you Bim has been beating TT in netball for sometime...they recently beat the champions Jamaica.
Bim rank high in the world in netball...big achievement for a little island of which TT is 12 times the size.
