Devendra Bishoo is the Man of the Series. He says: "Very happy, especially after the poor show in England. This second Test the pitch was slower than the earlier one. When ball got older, it got further slow. Got tough, and not spinning as much either. I'm working a lot on my variations, my googlies, more now. Pretty happy with the series and looking forward to New Zealand."

In reply to WestDem
yeah, is like some ppl find anything to complain on especially when they no like you
So it will continue
He got the memo...
In reply to XDFIX
Working on what? After 10 years of first class cricket
In reply to WestDem
Correct, but still he is aware and has admitted to others' concerns and observations......
I guess he is also complaining bout his-self too
That's all I ask of you.
Success does not come easy. And as the great jazz pianist Bill Evans would say: "I believe in things that are developed through hard work..."
No one said it would be easy...but you can't throw your hands in the air and surrender meekly without trying.
Btw, congrats on your recent achievements.
De Courtesy.

Lance Gibbs say he wanted to be a leg spinner but could not bowl the googly so he settled to be an off spinner
In reply to silver
In there is any truth to the above, at least Lance had the awareness that if he had to become a leg spinner of class he would need a googly as part of his arsenal.
The man from albion is a hard worker; he's world class N dominant...he will endure...wi cricket is political and will be representative of the region. who vex, vex!
Jacobs fuh Bishoo
In reply to Runs
You tell them bro...plus Jacobs has a googly...a critical element in any leg spinner arsenal.

Thanks mate. Some of our bowlers or at least one a dem can take a queue from Lance.

Brother I have known that story since I was a kid playing cricket on the street corners
In reply to runout
I'm not sure a googly is absolutely necessary to be an effective leg spinner. Shane Warne took a whole lot of wickets in Test cricket without bothering too many batsmen with the googly.
Bring back Rawle e made them bawl googly and all
