I have always found Sammy to be more politician than cricketer. He comes across as less than genuine and opportunistic but that is in part what being an adult is all about. There is no question that he is astute and thick-skinned - a leader.
Bottom line .... even his negative personal traits qualify him for political leadership... and that is what WI cricket administration is all about. I would certainly vote for him.

Go ask The Donald and I'm sure he'll agree. Why do we get taken in by glib politicians over and over again? Because well spoken words always sound convincing and we swallow what's said without giving it much thought. A human failing that afflicts most of us.
I question everything and everyone because in most cases people are driven by their own selfish agenda..

I do not have any problem with what You have stated . However that is
very unlikely , because of the deep animosity those on the Board have towards Players .
It is this deep seated hatred that
