Cricket West Indies cannot continue to invest scarce pesos in mediocre players. Already our player pool is so minuscule thereby limiting the number of players who can rise to the top.
The most cost effective ways to identify and nurture talent must be implemented. The CWI can start with a rigid appraisal system which does not reward less than average players.
It's time those PCL cricketers shape up or be shipped out.
