this allows ISPs to slow down access to certain sites or block them completely

cable companies can now fight the Netflix boom that is taking away their business

ISPs will charge for additional accesses to certain sites
cry cry cry cry

I have always been a net neutrality proponent, however how would you react being an ISP and having 90% of your bandwidth inundated by Netflix traffic or other streaming services?

Does this overload by the streaming services overload the pipes and slow down normal web traffic?

You know there is HD video, 4K Video and the definition will only get higher(how else will Sony sell TVs), the bandwidth requirements will also get higher.

I think the Netflix's etc should bear a part of the burden, not the consumer

They will own their own ISPs and if you need their service, you go through their ISP; there will then have partnerships with other big businesses and providers.

Nonsense! Nothing uses up the ISP bandwidth unless i request it. I pay for that right! Now they are going to restrict my choices to get me back to paying for their Cable TV.

I should have the right to do whatever on my Internet connection without interference from the provider. It's never enough for them.
