I didn't know. Which high school?

Hi Mike, our offical name is Saint Lucia.

It infuriates us when our official name is butchered.

BBC commentators still mispronouncing Dominica, though....

Congrats as well to Thea Lafond (Dom) and Devynne Charlton (Bah), who won gold medals in the women's triple jump and the women's 60m hurdles.

Wait! Anju giwe wi yellow yam.
Any truth to the rumor that Anju's holdings in St. Lucia are planted in acres of Trelawny yellow yam of the Usain Bolt variety.

Great job by alfred.

Curious why top Yardie and Yankee stars didn't compete. Do Sherika, Thompson-herah, Sha kari, Gaby Thomas etc only suit up for outdoors?

Nowadays established top flight stars and vets usually avoid the indoor season even if it is WC.If they do it is used as part of rounding out their training for the outdoor season and major meets and championship events

Because they're using it as part of their training as posited above. Elaine Thompson did the same thing some time ago.

She first went to High School in SLU for her first 2 years then due to her potential and no real Track facilities in SLU was offered a scholarship to the HS in JA with the help of her 'Sports Coach' and Sandals (where her mom works) who has JA connections.
