Two wireless radios and two police uniforms were among items seized at the home of pastor and purported intelligence officer Ian Ezekiel Brown during a search of his Arima home on Saturday.
Sources confirmed to Guardian Media the police uniforms were a blue and grey uniform and the operational blue and black uniform.
Officers of the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF), the Special Branch and the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), visited Brown’s Chin Aleong Street, Arima, home where they made the discovery.

The raid which was dubbed ‘Operation Creed’ was led by ACP Tactical Kelvern Thompson and a search warrant for arms and ammunition was executed.
Brown who is a former police officer has reportedly admitted to being a spy.
Police from the Special Branch and the SIU are continuing enquiries

It is only under an inept PNM government that a civilian can successfully infiltrate the SSA, be included in the payroll, attend classified briefings, and gain access to sensitive information and documents, without any of the individuals in the National Security apparatus possessing the basic intelligence to investigate/knowledge the background of the PNM traitor.

PASTOR Ian Albert Ezekiel Brown says he is a spy for the Strategic Services Agency (SSA).

In an exclusive interview with the Express, yesterday, in Port of Spain, Brown, 67, also confirmed that 100 police officers, on Saturday, raided his Arima home and his churches—the Jerusalem Bride (JB Church) in Malabar, Arima, and the Eden Restored Church in Caratal.

He said he is known as “The Phantom” and “the ghost who walks” in the SSA and he was only now breaking his silence because his “cover” was blown by the police.
Brown said he believes the SSA will go “dark” because a list of “righteous” people will be dismissed from the agency.

Two Security Services Agency (SSA) employees were fired last year after they voiced concerns about Pastor Ian Albert Ezekiel Brown, 67, who was employed by the agency as an adviser and was permitted to attend national security meetings at the highest level. The presence of the pastor at several high-level security meetings with senior intelligence personnel was confirmed by multiple intelligence sources, generating worries about possible violations of national security brought about by a civilian attending such sensitive meetings.

“My colleagues saw him at a top-level security meeting and were asking what clearance he had to sit in these meetings,” said a senior intelligence source familiar with the situation.

Sources confirmed that SSA members who questioned the pastor’s clearance at these high-level meetings were later sacked.

Brown known as ‘prophetic adviser’ at SSA , sources say

Pastor Ian Albert Ezekiel Brown, who claims he is a spy employed by the Strategic Services Agency (SSA) has been working as an adviser at the agency, according to intelligence sources.
Sources claimed that while Brown professed himself to be a spy, their recollection of him was actually as an adviser to Major Roger Best who was sent on administrative leave on March 2.
The sources said that for the past three years, Brown was commonly called Best’s “prophetic adviser” in the agency and had free rein throughout the organisation.

His employment at the agency bound him to the SSA Act.

According to Section 5 (1) of the SSA Act, the Agency can employ staff as it considers necessary for the due performance of its duties and functions and provide for the remuneration and other terms and conditions of their employment.
However, Section 5 (2) of the Act said that, “Every employee of the Agency shall, at the commencement of his duties with the Agency, take the oath of allegiance and secrecy stated in the Schedule.”
Intelligence sources told Guardian Media that Brown was not vetted for the job but earned a consulting fee from the agency of about $25,000 per month.
For the period he was assigned, five years with a stipend and another as an adviser, sources calculated that Brown would have accrued close to $1 million in earnings if he did not pay taxes.

This is a very big nasty scenario that can only get worse and cannot bring any positive benefit to this country. Instead of taking a back seat on this issue, Dr Rowley should be very concerned and take an active interest in this issue. The pastor claimed in an interview in another place, that he was actively pursuing a suspicious minister who was involved in criminal activities, This should move Dr Rowley to start an investigation to determine if such a minister exists and if so, get rid of him, considering that he may be a major threat to the government and to the country. There may be many more of those dangerous entities acting innocently as national security bodies.

SSA probe: Rowley calling for patience

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is calling for patience pending investigations into the Strategic Services Agency (SSA).
He told the media at the sod-turning ceremony for the Citrus Close Housing Development on the Eastern Main Road in Laventille yesterday that there was no “fiasco” concerning the SSA.

The prime minister said, “We have a challenge and investigations are going on and action is being taken to right the ship. I said in English that the Government responded to information from the police and any kindergarten child would know from that, that there is a police investigation going on.”

He referred to allegations by members of the Opposition that there was no investigation into the SSA and to their suggestion that an investigation should be carried out by ­Parliament as “mischievous”.
