Looks like the Harpy Eagles are looking to score quickly to put up a big total and give themselves plenty of time to bowl out the WWI.
But look at what the change in intent and attitude has done to Tage? Shouldn't this be the norm when it comes to him? I see him picking off easy singles now - all because of his intent to score and put away the bad balls for boundaries.
This shyte isn't rocket science but I can't for the life of me understand why Tage doesn't bat with this mindset all the time.

Sean Devers was saying earlier that team management had instructed Tage to go for shots and not to worry about getting out....dis poking mentality is all in his head....he can play shots

Agreed.
The art of batting is to put the pressure back on to the bowler. Whether you are scoring 1s and 2s, or 6s and 4s, if you are always looking to score the bowlers know they can't bowl any bad balls and that puts pressure on THEM.

Playing himself back in contention for the Windies opening spot.
Great to see a change in his attitude.
Any Windies fan should applaud did change.

This is the general approach I think that he has to adopt. We know he got it to beat ball
Just don't worry about getting our. Take the initiative
This is good. Never too late to make adjustments

The fact that he can is the greater part of it. Blackwood who used to beat ball cyan even beat a flee now.

I hope he can kick on tomorrow and convert this knock into a big one. He MUST continue to play his shots though. Crabs who stay in shells do not catch much

I'm glad he's showing this side and continues in this form. Everyone knows he can do it, the onus is on him to continue

Tage at the U15 level was very aggressive... Then his grandfather started scolding him for throwing his wicket away.
That fear is probably still with him... Hence de reason he blocks and try to protect his wicket. This inning shows what he is capable of but I don't think he will continue being aggressive.. It's good to see though

Remember Tage went through a period when he was not making runs and he then remodeled with some degree of success?

Good for him! It occurred to me to check the current Test players scores, seems like none of them are really dominating , whats going on?

Happy for Tage. All he needs to do is get the balance right. Block the really good balls but put away the mediocre and bad ones. He does not need to score a boundary off every bad ball but he needs to let the bowlers know that they will be punished if they do not get it right.

Can't get that out of him... De man afraid of getting out before he gets to his ton... Grandfather won't go easy on him if he gets out and don't make that ton.
