That is so in SOME cases this edition. However the batting has evolved. The power hitting and shot making is of the kind you haven't seen in cricket as recent as 7 years ago. Pointing made the point a few days ago that power dominated batting will win this year's IPL.

Cleans him up with an absolute peach! Back of a length delivery that pitches on off and seems destined to come in. Until it doesn't. Nips away against the angle after hitting the seam and Hope is opened up like a deck chair. Tries to fence it away but sees the ball thud into the top of off stump. DC under early strife!
