Circus cricket and exposing players to fixes
As compared to a regional tournament with blatantly incorrect umpiring decisions and no DRS. Maybe some like it so.

That inefficiency vs deviance

I'll watch real cricket over that meaningless contrived IPL lickit crap any day of the week.
In reply to allan
is a give and take, you don't have players being caught wholesale in match fixing like hansie and azharuddin. the bigger paydays has somewhat dampened the cesire to sink into the cricketing underworld
In reply to allan
One tournament guilty of both.
In reply to SnoopDog
The rest of us then have to wallow your diatribe of complaints about the regional tournament.
In reply to Overthrow
Show me where I complained about the regional tournament.
I'll wait....
In reply to SnoopDog
I do not have to, you know your previous statements.
In reply to Overthrow
So in other words you made some shit up and can't prove it.
You should go write some of the scripts for the IPL fixers.

you forget about Marlon and the wk batter (Thomas) from the islands
In reply to allan
Yuh think AlJo was exposed in that last (20-run) over?
In reply to Drapsey
i hope not especially he is a senior WI player
but with this tournament, and exposure to these bookies you cant swear for no one
Lots of ca$h being thrown around for a bunch of guys in pyjamas playing kiddie cricket
Personally, I will stick with the real stuff.
In reply to allan
Marlon was caught for a fix that happened in 2006, two full years before the IPL came on the scene. He was just convicted in 2009 and banned

right now, from the side that toured australia, only the two josephs and mckenzie have the likeliest possibility of being picked for an ipl franchise
In reply to Jumpstart
For someone who was all of 12 years old when that event occurred back 2006, you seem to have a good grasp of the details.
Keep it up (30-year-old) Jumpy!
In reply to Jumpstart
Yep, considering the newbies. Can't see anyone else.
In reply to Jumpstart
