Lol. Couldn’t resist Doosra starting trouble.
Full Circle! Just think that after the 1960 5-0 away to WI BCCI contracted 3 WI pacers to play Ranji trophy so players could get used to pace. Imagine up to late 70's Abid and Solkar would bowl 3 overs a piece then turn the ball over to the spin quartet! The wonderful game never ceases to amaze

No only do India have genuine pacemen but their young batsmen can handle the pace.
Good call India....this will be good for the game....more excitement....
WI will soon have a genuine 4 prong again....but unfortunately our young batsmen seem to be afraid pace and cant handle short pitch bowling at all....
Years and years of playing on lifeless pitches has unfortunately brought this about. Thankfully, the pitches are finally improving and in the last few seasons, we are seeing some better cricket. The batsmen will get better value for their shots and they will adapt and learn to deal with the short stuff better, as a whole.
As far as the pace quartet is concerned...well, the cupboards look like they are starting to get stocked again!
With all due respect to the bowling of Jason Holder, Kyle Mayers etc, the sight of a row of competent slip fielders waiting in anticipation for an attack with Alzarri, Shamar and possibly in the near future, Isai Thorne, all steaming in to deliver the chin music is what I want to see...and what batsmen will not want to face. Relentless...no pause for the batters...pressure, pressure, pace like fire!
