Natasha McLean Again

Ann, you need to find a way to include Natasha McLean in the West Indies teams.

The team needs batting. The team needs batters that can score at 125 and above on a regular basis. Natasha can do that better than most in this team, and is probably the only one after Hayley Matthews. Hopefully, coach and selectors are not discriminating against Natasha because she is a big girl. There are lots of successful big girls in cricket today - Harris sisters, Richa Ghosh, Deepti Sharma are all successful power hitters and successful middle order batters.

BTW, Natasha's out against LI in the T20 looked like a bump ball to me. Maybe you can slow down the video to check that.

Keep your head up Natasha. You deserve better.

I don’t know Natasha McLean. Never seen her play.

But if we demanding that our athletes be in top physical condition, shouldn’t we demand the same from female players?

We all know why Rahkeem Cornwall isn’t selected for West Indies team anymore. It’s not about lack of performance.

No, it is not. It is only speculation on my part why she is not in the team.

Natasha ran two's and threes in the competition, is one of the best outfielders around and also provides backup wicket keeping capabilities.

She has improved her fitness exponentially….

Her exclusion can only put down to enforcing a quota system

Is she unfit? I don't know. She seemed to move well in the two games I looked at.

Is she an opener? Not yet, I don't think so. Having her at number 5 to 7 would seriously strengthen our middle order batting. She is good against spin and pace and can provide the oomph we need at the back-end.

they didn't pick the overall best bowler in the 2 comps either...so who knows what the criteria are these days...
