I see talk about Arab Americans in Michigan swearing that they will not vote for Biden because of his support for Israel. But if I were them, I would be terrified of a Trump Presidency.

Will Arab Americans Vote for Trump?
Oops Backroom please
In reply to Walco
What they need is a lobby as big and powerful as the Jewish lobby. That’s how you influence politics in Dumbfcukingstan.
The NRA has a bigger and more powerful lobby than the Arabs for fcuks sake.
In reply to SnoopDog
Maybe they can enlist Saudi Arabia in the effort to fund lobbyists. But it seems that some of those Arab countries hate/fear the Palestinians as much as the Israelis.
In reply to SnoopDog
Word, word, word!!!
In reply to Walco
Saudi Arabia leader is firmly in the Trump camp and aligned with the Zionist.
It is not just Arab Americas- who belong to different faiths, but the larger group of Muslim Americans of all ethnic groups and young Americans under 35 from all ethnic and religious groups
They will not vote for Trump as well.
For many, ignoring Genocide is a simply a bridge too far to cross and they may just say let the chips fall where ever because after all what can be worse the genocide
In reply to Mulla bin Emir
Great. So we won't hear any bitching, whinging, and complaining from them, and from you ,when the Dotard and Dotardnation gives them what they are asking for.
In reply to SnoopDog
The Imam is complaining about Gaza as T&T burns under his PNM government.
6th in Murders
14th In Crime
But let some negative connotation appears about Indians he will be there.
In reply to Walco
any of the arab nations seh anything to Israel yet?
In reply to doosra
Yes, their silence...nutting more is required.
In reply to Walco
Hopefully they are not foolish to vote for Biden!
In reply to doosra
I am not aware of other Arab nations saying much other than Iran and its surrogates.
In reply to XDFIX
Are you suggesting that Arab Americans should vote for Trump? And if so, how would Trump be better for them than Biden?
In reply to Emir
I referenced Arab Americans because the Arab population in Michigan, which is made up of a large number of Palestinians, will play a pivotal role in the US elections in November.
In reply to SnoopDog
Well said. I'm wondering how many are willing to jump from the frying pan (Biden) to the fire (Trump).
In reply to doosra
Quatar as a negotiator has held to some firm principles I'd say.
In reply to Walco
Genocide is no frying pan.
And most of the people against Biden for his stance are not Muslim American.
Are you suggesting if criminal Trump happens to win, and if he targets Muslim Americans as a target, then he will be correct?
You are better than dat man.
In reply to Walco
I am saying given their utterances, it would be foolish to vote for Biden!
In reply to XDFIX
What utterances are you referring to? And who should they vote for instead of Biden?
In reply to Emir
No, I am saying it would be folly for Arab Americans to vote for Trump over Biden. At least Biden has gotten tired of Israel's indiscriminate killing of Palestinians (genocide), but Trump would tell Natanyahu that he is doing a great job and go ahead and kill as many Palestinians as "necessary" to get rid of Hamas.
And when you add that Trump is advocating mass deportations, another Muslim ban, and thinks non-white immigrants are poisoning the blood of American, I don't see why any rational Arab American or muslim would vote for Trump.
In reply to Walco
Punish Biden for tolerating Israel's blatant violation of international laws!
In reply to XDFIX
Punish Biden and elect Trump who will tolerate, support and encourage even more blatant violations of international law? What sense does that make?
In reply to Walco
The difference between Biden and Trump is Trump supports the Genocide.
In reply to nick2020
Biden has also supported the genocide, and he is on power and is a self confessed Zionist.
As VP, he undercut Obama’s policy.
Look, genocide Joe is no different than Trump when it comes to Israel.
In reply to nick2020
Apparently Emir thinks Biden supports genocide as well.
In reply to Emir
This thread is about the choice posed to the Arab American electorate between Trump and Biden. Which candidate would get your vote?
In reply to doosra
Turkey, if you can call them Arabs and Jordan are quite vocal: Egypt and Qatar are involved in the negotiations .
In reply to Walco
Bro, with all due respect, you are framing the question incorrectly because Arab Americans in Michigan, as a group by themselves, will not matter.
The real question is the coalition of Muslim Americans in Michigan, along with the base young progressives and independents of all religious, racial and socio economic backgrounds , will vote "Uncommitted" in the presidential ballot.
How can I vote for a candidate that STILL supports genocide despite his recent "mamagism." He says one thing in public, then the next day he sends them bombs. Genocide is a bridge too far too cross.
How can I vote for TRUMP, who hold the same view and will keep Biden's policy on Genocide- when it comes to Israel, they are one and the same.
I will support the prosecution of Biden at the Hague for crimes against humanity- a charge that Trump hasn't committed yet.
In reply to Walco
Emir is being an absolutist.
Being #1 is perilous. You find yourself with a lot of enemies. Israel is very much a strategic ally for the USA in the middle eastern region. Alliances are very important. So I do not agree with the pussy footing politics but I understand why diplomacy is the route being taken. Onto who said this:
_____ said that while he would have reacted the same way as Israel after Hamas’s October 7 attack, in which more than 1,000 people were killed and more than 200 taken captive, it was time to end the conflict.
People are odd. You cannot hate Biden for his response to the war and decide you will vote for Trump instead. You need other reasons.
In reply to nick2020
You can hold Biden for the crime of genocide because he has committed it. The recently retired UN envoy is just the latest official to say this and based on the UN definition of genocide and the supporting of genocide, it is straight forward. Under Biden's protection and support of money and weapons, Israel committed genocide against an occupied population.
Most People who will not for vote for Biden based solely for his act of Genocide, will also not vote for Trump. They will leave the box empty or they will write in things such as "free Palestine" or "No Genocide."
Trump cannot be held liable for the Palestinian Genocide on the premise that he would have done the same or worst, and this is the difference.
An implication of this, is TRUMP may book his ticket to the White House again and all the threats he promised may become a reality.
Genocide is but the greatest crime against humanity, greater than any of crimes the evil Trump has committed while in office, and this is the reality.
Whatever happens to our system of governance if Trump wins, and he will attempt to carry out the threats he ha made domestically, is simply the price to pay for the current president support of genocide of a colonized and occupied people while the world weeps and remain helpless in the face of Biden's military and economic might.
In reply to Emir
I guess this explains why Trump is able to dupe so many simpletons. A man who called for a Muslim ban and is telling you he happy to see brown people get wipe off the planet but you need to see him do it to be sure.
Didn't Trump promise mass deportation on these people. I wouldn't want to test if he would carry it out. Worse yet he planning on using those 747 Max which means you might leave the US quickly, but either you or some part of the plane not sure to reach its destination. Trump going to deport and torcher you at the same time. Cruel cruel.
In reply to nick2020
Not dupe, but you cannot charge him for a crime that he didn’t commit, because he may be predisposed to commit that crime in a future date.
Are you prepared to let Biden get away with Genocide because Trump is an evil person?
Truth is Biden was and is prepared to aide and abet Genocide and dare people to say, you can’t do much about it because the alternative is Trump
In reply to Emir
You were asked which one you would vote for not whatever goal post you have shifted to.
Biden as of recently has gone the soft criticism route and called Israel's handling of the war a mistake, asked for a ceasefire and for improved aid to Gaza.
Trump wants Gaza to be flattened.
It is really simple.
Bottom line a vote for a 3rd candidate or a no vote gets Trump one step closer to winning the election. His Maga cult will be out in force to vote for him. If enough "pissed off" voters stay away, it's essentially a vote for Trump.
Same thing happened in 2016 when people didn't vote because they didn't like Hillary!!
In reply to Emir
Man you talking real foolishness. Trump has been saying that Biden has not been sufficiently supportive of Israel, and he has stated that no Jew who loves Israel should vote for Biden and the Democrats, and you are willing to give him a pass on the issue of genocide because he was not president. Trump is saying that he would support Israel killing even more Palestinians, but you will leave the box open and engage in a symbolic gesture that will not be tallied or counted. It would be better if you stay home and saved the gas or fare, but I guess it might make you feel better.
Has Trump called for a ceasefire or a two state solution? Has he done or said anything that would lead a reasonable person to believe that a Trump presidency would be better for Palestinians than the Biden Presidency? Frying pan to fire ...
In reply to nick2020
And he will probably support right wing Israelis expanding into Gaza and setting up settlements just like they have done on the West Bank. Emir is blinded by anger and frustration.
In reply to Walco
Gaza is already flattened
And my question is this:
Do you give Biden a free pass for Genocide?
In reply to nick2020
Are you that naive, whew!!’
You dismiss Genocide as “simple.”
In reply to Emir
I think I see the problem Emir. You have an issue with your computer.
Press the Windows Key
Type settings
Click on Settings (accompanied by a Gear icon)
Click on Accessibility in the list on the left hand side
You will see sections in the right hand area. Scroll down past Vision, Hearing and Interaction. Make sure you have the Common Sense toggle on because it is clearly off right now.
In reply to nick2020
Boring for an old hard back man like you with your poor attempt to pass Biden's sins because his opponent is evil. We don't excuse one evil because the alternative is arguable more evil- you call out both and you stand on principle.
And Grow up.
In reply to Walco
Will Zionists vote for Biden or Trump?
In reply to Emir
Show me where I said any of those things.
Where did I make an attempt to pass Biden's sins?
Where did I say Trump is evil?
All I did say is you cannot pass on voting for Biden because of the war in Gaza and vote for Trump. My advice is not childish clearly something is going wrong with your reading and comprehension so I assumed it was the device and not you.
In reply to doosra
This right here.
Republicans can always ALWAYS count on their voters to turn out - no matter who is the candidate.
Dems voters will abstain on some bullshit principle or high moral ideal and then bitch, moan, and whinge for the next 4 years.
As the great Tuco Ramirez once said "When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk."
In reply to Emir
Are you prepared to let Biden get away with Genocide because Trump is an evil person?
Truth is Biden was and is prepared to aide and abet Genocide and dare people to say, you can’t do much about it because the alternative is Trump
I agree with Emir!
Biden is guilty as charge - vote Trump or don't vote at all, hmm perhaps just do the write in - free Palestine!
In reply to XDFIX
Who gets punished in that case? Biden or the majority of the people?
In reply to googley
Just take your puja Franchise and move elsewhere .
In reply to googley
The Palestinians have already been punished to the most extreme way possible: Genocide.
Are you not aware their country was already stolen, they were then systematically replaced and are now currently being ethnically cleansed by European settlers for whatever little they have remaining.
For Palestinians the decades of Zionist punishment has apexed under Biden’s careful guidance and support and nothing Trump will do to them can be any worse.
In reply to googley
A soliloquy of the Israeli Arab conflict of statehood for Palestine.
In 1937, there was a desire for a two-state solution, but unfortunately, the negotiations did not succeed.
In 1947, the United Nations approved a partition plan (referred to as UN Resolution 181) to divide Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states. The British government had initially suggested this plan around ten years prior. The Arabs rejected the partition plan, which resulted in the first Arab-Israeli war (1948–49) due to the ensuing conflict over territory. Following the war, Israel acquired more land, while Jordan and Egypt gained control over the West Bank and Gaza Strip, respectively.
The Palestinians, lacking a government of their own, formed numerous distinct groups to advance their nationalist cause. The establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1964 marked a significant shift, as it became the primary organization advocating for Palestinian self-determination, replacing the aforementioned groups.
The conflict between Israel and its Arab neighbors was reignited by the Six-Day War in 1967. Israel assumed control of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as the Egyptian and Jordanian armies withdrew. During the war, Israel took control of the Sinai Peninsula, a territory the Palestinians had not claimed. Egypt regained control of the territory in 1979.
Israeli and Palestinian leaders reached an agreement in Oslo, Norway in the 1990s. The agreement outlined a gradual implementation process for a mutually negotiated two-state solution by the end of the decade. The process initially showed promise and progress, but a combination of dissatisfaction and distrust caused its breakdown and delay.
The most contentious issues, including Jerusalem, final borders, Jewish settlements in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and the return of Palestinian refugees, were the topics of discussion after the five-year period.
The negotiations between Israel and the PLO persisted as they endeavored to implement a two-state solution on the ground. In May 1994, an agreement was reached in Cairo that resulted in the Israeli forces withdrawing from the cities of Gaza and Jericho. This withdrawal also established the Palestinian Authority.
From the beginning, certain individuals from both Israeli and Palestinian backgrounds have actively worked to undermine the possibility of a two-state solution. Both religious nationalists held the belief that their respective governments lacked the authority to relinquish any portion of the land. Over time, several Israeli governments were in power, while the Palestinian factions struggled with a lack of trust among themselves. There have been instances of intense confrontations between opposing extremist factions.
The negotiations broke down due to deteriorating relations and a lack of substantial progress within the allotted timeframe.
In 2017, the Trump administration expressed its intention to revive the peace process after years of stagnant negotiations. While Israeli and Palestinian leaders initially responded positively to the initiative, the Palestinians were disappointed when the United States recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital in December 2017 and relocated its ambassadorial mission to the city in May. Amidst escalating tensions between the United States and the PA. When the Trump administration presented its peace plan, referred to as the "Deal of the Century," the Palestinians concluded that the United States was no longer capable of impartially mediating the conflict.
The plan, although well-received by Israeli leaders, faced condemnation from Palestinian leaders and did not succeed in revitalizing negotiations before the end of Trump's presidency. In 2021, the U.S. administration under President Joe Biden initiated the reinstatement of aid to the Palestinians and expressed the intention to reopen the PLO office in Washington, D.C.
Today, we see the results of such failures , suffering by both citizens.
In reply to Emir
The man that called for a Muslim ban?
The man that cheered at the red rockets glare of Israel?
Surely you are not that foolish?
In reply to Emir
Of course not. But I can promise you that a future President Trump will not criticize the indiscriminate killing of Palestinians and he will never call for a two state solution. Do you know how I know this? He has not done or called for either thing to date. It's easy for you to say from afar that "nothing Trump will do to them [Palestinians] can be any worse." But I suspect that if you were a Palestinian living in Gaza right now, you would be thinking that going forward you have a better chance of not becoming a victim of genocide with Biden as President than with Trump.
In reply to SnoopDog
So yuh telling me that all these years I have been under the mistaken belief that Tuco was an Italian?

In reply to Walco
I echo what the people in Gaza are saying- this genocide is the apex of their oppression.
I have direct word of the Gaza people from their relatives in my community- I correspond daily with the Palestinian American community here.
If you won't listen to me or the Palestinians, listen to Biden's own officials- 12 of his hand picked senior officials walked out on his administration because they wanted nothing to do with genocide. Biden is an unapologetic Zionist. At least Trump was blunt with what he will do, unlike Biden.
Now, lets be clear, the Palestinians and those of us who are not shy to condemn this genocide, DO NOT SEE IT AS TRUMP vs Biden and who is less evil.
It is about making sure Biden is not rewarded for supporting genocide and doing nothing to even criticize right up to last week. Only when the polls started showing Americans are upset and may not vote for him, he slightly changed his public utterances hoping to fool the people.
In reply to Emir
Ok boss. I give up. Carry on smartly
