Jewmaycans! Jamaicans! Guess what?

Whenever, I would buy my Jewmaycan bread (Golden Krust whole wheat)...my wife would steups. But, guess who would take at most 4 slices in the morning to work & for the Easter, guess who bought a goady (ask dem other windians on that vocab.) of loaf of the bun (I think the brand is National) & a huge container of the Jamaican cheese (a circular container)? Yep, she did! As CHG warned...dem Guyneez could be two-faced! Likkle more.

Man that cheese is to damn salty – I don’t buy it anymore. The Golden Krust Bun was very good this Easter, but I forgo the Jamaican cheese and opt for some quality cheese from Whole Foods.

I have been buying that Jamaican Ginger Beer for years but recently I find it has lost that lovely,satisfying taste, I cannot describe what it is but when I do I will point it out to you.Now here's what happened.I went to Marks and Spencer and saw that they sold Ginger Beer so I bought a bottle,the truth is it brought back memories of the Jamaican Ginger Beer I was accustomed to.TBH i can't do without GB and sometimes make my own,nothing beats that drink.

"Salty" and "doesn't melt" are true indeed. Birdie, I was wondering whether it was my taste had changed (improved) since younger days, but you just confirmed. Still kinda like it with spice bun, but I will start experimenting. Chrissy, I love to make omlettes and used to dice up our cheese for it, but in recent years/decades I've noticed the issue fe true.
