Personally, I still want to see what the final round of Championship games and what is going on over in the county games play out.
As it stands though, I would certainly like the top 3 or 4. However, I would not go with Chase over Sinclair and also, Wickham, for me, would be in the side.
As for Kemar Roach and Jason Holder...I have to see if they can still bring it...do not forget...Roach was fine in Australia, taking 5/129 over the two tests. If he is bowling well for Surrey, he could still be of use. The guy remains very fit and is dedicated to West Indies test side. That wealth of experience is valuable with so many up and coming quicks. Alzarri has played too much cricket and I hope he gets the rest he needs, thus enabling him to bring his best game to the test series. Shamar and Jayden are for me, going to be part of the attack for years.
My (pencilled in!) squad of 15:
1) K.Brathwaite (c)
2) K.McKenzie
3) K.Carty
4) K.Hodge
5) K.Wickham
6) K.Sinclair
7) J.Holder
8 ) J.DaSilva (w)
9) A.Joseph (vc)
10) S.Joseph
11) J.Seales
12) M.Louis / T.Chanderpaul / Z.McCaskie (tough, tough call...pros 'n cons for all three guys)
13) T.Imlach
14) G.Motie
15) K.Roach / J.Louis / I.Thorne (may be too early for Thorne but his potential has me tempted...especially as the July/August wickets harden up over there!)
Note: I am sure that the selectors will think of this...if Holder, Roach or even Seales is missing from the test squad but still playing in the county championship, they may be an option to call up short notice, with experience of the conditions on hand too.
