What could the poorest people of T&T get for $10 million if he had decided to say at home and perhaps do some work for a change? Maybe he should respond to that question instead of always defending his inappropriate behaviour.He (Rowley) cannot answer. He has no legitimate defence for his flamboyant travel expenses.
Yes, he is PM of a 'tiny' country. As such, he has (some) 'entitlement', regards affairs which may impact his citizens.
That is the full extent of his ability to warrant spending 'taxpayer's money'.
Anything, outside of those 'guidelines' is entirely unacceptable.
He does not have to stay in "The
Emperor's Suite", eat lobster, steak and caviar nor drink the finest alcohol, all on the taxpayer's 'dime'.
I await the publication of the itemized receipts, filed for payment, to the Minister of Finance Department.

oh ye of short memory the thinking of rowley is the same as robinson fridge stove and vehicles are luxury items and citizens should not have this as a result taxes were added to these items.up to now no one charged for stealing the fifty dollar bills and rowley give 4percent so he can have the best possible life flying high and living high talking down and belittling the voting citizens.as far as he is concern the citizens are his slaves.

Trinidad stands out in all of the Caribbean as the second most corrupt Caribbean state behind the Lester Bird Administration in Antigua. Prime Ministers are not beyond the laws of a country but in Trinidad they may as well be because the arms of Justice in Trinidad are all silent. It is as if politicians in Trinidad are subject to justice and laws.A Prime Minister is accountable to taxpayers. He cannot demand that citizens pay taxes then use that money and not account for how it was spent. Obviously Dr Rowley does not see himself as a servant to the people but as political leader that is not accountable to anyone. That sounds very dictatorial if you ask me. Is there no one in this Government that can force this man to behave like a Prime Minister of a country, or is it that ministers are benefitting so much that they feel they must remain quiet? Rowley has committed actions that citizens of this country has never seen a previous Prime Minister do, one such action was the invasion of Barbados to "get" Brent Thomas another was the use of taxpayers money in a bribe to Nelson to go after Ramlogan I mean no one can stop this rouge Prime Minister even as his actions hurt the country's image and reputation as bad as it already was? I think we all see what is taking place in America as Biden goes after his political opponent Donald Trump using the US Department Of Justice but what is equally shocking is that our Judiciary and the DPP has never once investigated a sitting Prime Minister and there is a lot here in Trinidad that needs investigating including the removal of the Chairman of The Integrity Commission that was investigating Inez-gate and a $800K gift, and his immediate replacement with a PNM Yesman. It is high time our Judiciary takes action to stop Dr Rowley running this country as if it this country belongs to him.
