if this is referring to FC competitions, very well done Guyana. However, congratulations must be tempered a bit that in several of those years, our astute CWI sent off the international team on rather purposeless tours, leaving our FC competition bereft of some of the better players in the region. Guyana, which had experienced regional players, was generally able to capitalize on this situation. This is not to detract from Guyana's real resurgence as THE cricketing force in the Caribbean.
