Bennett wins
good riddance to Heaven

Dr. Donovan Bennett is the new president of the Jamaica Cricket Association.

Dr. Bennett defeated Wilford “Billy” Heaven 67-30 at the 20th JCA annual General Meeting at the Jamaica Conference Centre in downtown Kingston on Thursday.

Heaven had been at the helm of Jamaica’s cricket for over a decade and was seeking a fifth straight term, while this is Dr. Bennett’s first term in office.

Why could he not get it done at the national level? Heavens blocked him? He lacks the administrative ability at a higher level?

He served for a decade as VP now he has finally found the solutions?
