An all time T-20 legend.

When the history of T20 is written, Bravo, Gayle, Narine, Pollard will be in the top list as pioneers.

And I am not what you will consider a natural fan of T-20.

Is he a great T20i player?
When did greatness become a criterion from playing league cricket?

The poster isn't aware that T-20's primacy is "LEAGUE" he meant franchise cricket. Bilateral T20 is primarily WC base and few teams have their full side for those bilateral. Moreover, all nations select their T-20 wc Squad from those leagues.

It is incredible how some posters judgement can be clouded by bias and insularity- typical crab in the barrel mentality.

Barbados never had a high percentage of players, playing in the IPL.
Please look at where T&T players fit into teams.
Only Pooran and Narine, are representing the Redforce, at this time.
If I were you, I would keep quiet, because Narine will soon retire.

And as you can see, barbados has not done well as a cricketing nation for the last how many years. The last great cricketer from barbados entered the scene over 40 years ago. While Trinidad has gone to the champions league four times, once reaching the final(and setting the template for T20 cricket in the wi for the next 12 years), barbados went once, as a result of winning a franchise tournament captained by a trinidadian. At one point, adrian bharath, rampaul, badree, kevon cooper(who never represented the WI), lendl simmons in addition to pollard, bravo, and narine all had IPL contracts, and other less prominent members of the t20 and list a side were playing in the PSL, people like rayad emrit and denesh ramdin. So when coming to t20 cricket, the only bajan who gets a pass is dwayne smith and to a lesser extent kyle mayers(who did pretty well for lucknow last year). holder does not have a t20 career to boast about(don't tell me its because of his WI responsibilities because the IPL has been part of the ICC FTP program since 2017), RTN, even less so. in fact during that entire era of stanford and the CT20, only two teams bea Trinidad, guyana in 2010 and windward islands in 2012.

I have no interest in T20 leagues, so carry on.
