Just curious, wonder if an English team would have received the same treatment.

I’m thinking yes and no.

Yes because Nepal is Nepal

No because the English likely would have foreseen this issue and taken their own internal steps to mitigate.

At the end of the day, while not the norm for an international touring side…..not the worst thing that could have happened to the team.

It is not about "dragging" (carrying your own luggage) these are young strong men after-all, but an open pick up truck to transport the luggage, and though not in the video, passenger sitting in the open tray is not good.

Nepal is poor yes, but the elite lives as good as the rich in the USA. And tourist are given better treatment when they arrive in the airport.

Not a single official was on hand to welcome our team was even worse.

Poor or not, human decency requires better.

Its not the first international side to tour Nepal, has this always been the norm? If not it would be rather disrespectful but the boys are there to play cricket

This was a deliberate act of disregard. The Nepal cricket administrators and the Ministry of Sport did not consider the players worthy of having baggage handlers.

In Nepal, anyone considered to be of stature hires or is provided with all types of servants or helpers.
