US law enforcement leads to the arrest of two T&T Fugitives

For the second time in less than two weeks, federal agents from the Embassy of the United States representing the United States Marshal Service (USMS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Diplomatic Security Service (DSS), working closely with units from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, Port of Spain Division (TTPS), facilitated an arrest for an extradition warrant. In a media release today, the United States Embassy said on April 17, 2024, Vincent Roberts, a U.S. Permanent Resident fugitive wanted in the state of New York for attempted murder was arrested in the Laventille area of Trinidad. Roberts will be held in custody as the extradition process is finalized for his eventual return to the United States to stand trial for his alleged crimes.

On April 9 federal agents from the Embassy of the United States facilitated the arrest of Farzan Mohammed, a U.S. citizen fugitive wanted in the state of Pennsylvania for numerous counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, sexual abuse, rape, and child pornography. He was arrested in the Princes Town area of Trinidad on a Provisional Arrest Warrant (PAW)

T&T Comments:

Jan

Makes the US law enforcement look great and the ttps as morons, imagine foreign officers have to help you catch criminals in your own back yard

Two Cents

You can run but you cannot hide! Uncle SAM will get you!!

T&T has a reputation for being soft on crime and a haven for criminals that must change inorder to avoid embarassments like this where a foreign government must come to T&T to serve an extradition warrant for a criminal wanted in the USA. How can this bode well for T&T-US relations? Meanwhile Rowley playing fantasy cricket while the wheels are falling off the economy and society in general.Probably for the better that they be extradited to the US to face justice as the lazy TTPS and Erla and Hinds can't do anything right and have allowed crime to mushroom out of control.
