it is hard to bowl bouncers and it is a skill...unlike what the new savages like Khaga dem might think
is there an element of fatigue as well with the amount of cricket played by the overseas guys?

Simple strategy ...
Batsman moves towards the offside during the bowler's run up. This leaves a typical outside off stump ball as an 'in the slot' one where the batsman can do whatever he wants with it. If the ball ends up out of the batsman's reach, then it is adjudged a wide.
Should the bowler aim at middle stump, then again the ball is 'in the slot' and dispatched just about anywhere the batsman desires. And of course anything outside leg stump is adjudged a wide.
Looks like the bowlers are just there to 'support the process'.

i agree. but bowlers have to use their grey matter too. God gave you a brain to use, not to sit on. utilize your tools, cutters, slower balls....mix it up....bowl from wider of the crease. when those commies talk about batsmen today....i always say with exception of two, kohli and root, not a solitary one of them would have lasted two minutes in the 90s, and they would have been killed in the 80s. you don't really have too many thinking bowlers today. cummins, bumrah and kg rabada are the exceptions. everybody is else is run up, bowl fast and get launched to timbuktu

Isn’t franchise cricket akin to the NBA or the NFL??? If you’re a fan of Lebron James do you keep supporting Cleveland or does some of your allegiance go to LA???
