Agreed. Not quite himself for the entire year so far and have been overtaken by even Sinclair as a batsman

Its not as if he hasnt had proper opportunity, the FC season was great for batters and nepal also had great conditions for batting

if he cant capitalize on these conditions, hes not ready yet for the international circuit

bridging that gap continues to be an absolutely destructive pathway for our young batsmen, I hope this guy does not disappear like the others

Anybody can make runs on that Stanford cow pasture and look good. The umpires are not helping the situation with their alleged biases instead of umpiring by the book. Unfortunately, when these players get to play on properly prepared ICC-recognized wickets and face real professional opposition, they are lost.

Personally, I would not have either of them anywhere near kiddie-whack-it cricket in pyjamas. Both could well turn out to be proper cricketers, so keep them involved in 50 over and red ball. Form is temporary, class is a different story. Alick Athanaze in particular, could be something special. Keacy Carty appears to have a nice, calm method about him at the crease, generally looks really well composed. I hope that these two young guys, along with Kevin Sinclair and one or two others, form the backbone of a resurgent West Indies middle order for years to come.

Every young player that scored 25 runs, the Mb is ready to place him on the international scene, these guys need to be better prepared before going to the internationals...

I agree, both Athanaze and Carty should not be playing international T20 cricket. Too early in their careers. However Walsh is going well in Nepal, that might be his level of play.
