New Zealand get first win of tour to keep series alive

New Zealand's tour seemed to have hit rock-bottom midway through the third ODI against West Indies when their only consistent batsman of the series, BJ Watling, joined their lengthy list of injured players. It was, the pundits agreed, a total that wouldn't challenge Chris Gayle & Co, and West Indies seemed set to continue their dominance in this series.

Windians to wear Number 37 in honour of Morton

Basseterre, St Kitts — Chris Gayle has called on his team-mates to push hard for the series-winning victory on Wednesday when they face New Zealand in the third Digicel One-Day International.

West Indies have been dominant and lead the five-match Digicel Series 2-0 and a victory on Wednesday would see them clinch the series. Gayle warned to expect a fightback from the Black Caps, but remained confident the home side has the strength to overpower the visitors again.

Kiwis eye damage control - Gayle identified as bane of Black Caps

NEW Zealand wicketkeeper/batsman BJ Watling said his team is looking to limit the damage done by West Indies opener Christopher Gayle for the remainder of the five-match Digicel One-Day International (ODI) series.

The 32-year-old Gayle, back into the regional set-up after a 15-month absence due to a prolonged squabble with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), has terrorised the New Zealand bowling attack with match-winning knocks all series.
