One wonders who is the superpower? Is it USA or Israel? Why is the US Secretary of State humiliating Americans by begging Israel to stop the war? Just simple send US troops to protect Food Aid workers and the starving Palestinians looking for food and the war will immediately cease.

As per CNN:

“Relations between the Biden administration and the Netanyahu government have frayed in recent weeks, and domestic US frustrations about the war continue to mount. Partisan divides have grown on Capitol Hill, exemplified by Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s call last week for an election in Israel and Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson on Thursday stating his intention to invite Netanyahu to address Congress.

Blinken’s meetings were expected to be tense, with Netanyahu vowing to carry out an Israeli military incursion into Rafah, where more than a million Gazans have been forced to flee, despite US and international criticism of such a plan.

“Our position, which is very clear, is that a major military operation in Rafah would be a mistake, something we don’t support,” Blinken reiterated at a press conference Thursday. “There is no place for the many civilians who are massed … in Rafah … to go to get out of harm’s way. And for those that would inevitably remain, it would be a humanitarian disaster.”

The matter was expected to be discussed in Blinken’s meetings in Tel Aviv, and Israeli officials will travel to Washington next week to hear the US “views on how to deal with the problem differently,” he noted Wednesday.“

Quite simple, for Israeli forces would not think of opposing US forces, very simple.

Why do they need a UN resolution?
They could just command their client -state, Israel, to cease fire; plus stop sending them the arms that are perpuating the genocide against the Palestinians.

Now China and Russia veto the UN resolution, poor Palestinians who are the ones facing the bombing are now caught up in political malingering among UN members.

Indeed Israeli are large and in charge, while US barking but no bites, the guy told Blinken today that they will do what they have to do with or without US. That’s why I liked Ronnie Reagan, for by now Israel would have been looking up at a sky filled with US warplanes, ending the war.

Israel attacked and killed its backers and allies many times over the years with no consequences. Here's 2 e.g.

Agree, yet no emphasis is being placed on helping the people in Sudan - not even seen much in the media when compared to Gaza!

This is why I don't trust these world leaders and the media - nuff attention paid to Ukraine and Gaza but Sudan gets little or no attention!

Where is Joe Biden on Sudan? Where are the Europeans? Where is South Africa? Where is the AU? - all set of hypocrites!

All of this would have been avoided , but ignored on this site

Palestine was among former Ottoman territories placed under UK administration by the League of Nations in 1922.
Before 1948, Palestine was home to a diverse population of Arabs, Jews, and Christians, as all groups had religious ties to the area, especially the city of Jerusalem.
The Oslo Accords were supposed to bring about Palestinian self-determination, in the form of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.
This would mean that Israel, which was formed on the land of historic Palestine in 1948 in an event Palestinians know as the Nakba, would accept Palestinian claims to national sovereignty.

Now lets look at what is happening today in Israel?

The Palestinian Arabs refused to recognize this arrangement, which they regarded as favorable to the Jews and unfair to the Arab population that would remain in Jewish territory under the partition.

When looking at other Mediterranean populations, it becomes clear that Palestinians share a close genetic connection with Jews and other Middle Eastern populations. This includes Turks (Anatolians), Lebanese, Egyptians, Armenians, and Iranians.
Let's think of how many lives such an agreement would have saved. sigh
Sadly, Israel would not give up any conquered lands today , so what solution remains?
More killing and tears

Palestinians problems started when they accepted empty promises of Statehood from the British, to fight against their own people, the Turks and Ottoman Empire on the side of the British. Of course Britain refused to live up to its promises after the Turks were defeated, instead set up so-called Israel on Palestinian lands. Many of us have been brainwashed into believing that the modern State of Israel is the same biblical Israel, but knowledge and wisdom now prevail among the youth of today, we know who are the real Jews.

And today what's happening the last line... now if Oslo Accords were taken...

There you have it, another educated brainwashed person. Colonialist propaganda did such a powerful psychological brainwashing that it’s difficult even to convince our own so-called smart people. Study your history, learn about pre-colonial Africa or unless you representing the brainwashing class.

Israel has been the Tail that has been wagging the Dog,USA for decades now.
The impotence/reluctance of non action against Israel by any USA administration stems
from the Jewish influence over both the Dems and Repubnuts in the USA.

My post had nothing to do with Israeli forces boss. If you think Hamas would just stand down and not attack US forces in Gaza, it's a good thing you are not one of Biden's advisers smile
