I saw the stats later this evening..still happy for him.
I am not gonna fuss or argue with those who dont have any faith in him.
He is STILL LEARNING...and as long as he remains fit in BODY and MIND...I want to see him back in the set up.

Funny Enough..
There is some new life being breathed into the topic of
VERY GOOD CLUB CRICKETERS WHO NEVER GOT CALLED UP ( for one reason or another)
Born at the wrong time
Injured just before
Ignored in spite of consistent performances... Classism and all that ra$$ism
and any other reasons the fellas can recall hearing , saying or over hearing

Seales strikes again, figures of 4/64 from 21 overs now. NHNTS 296/8 (105 ov.) Should have had a fifth wicket too...dropped at 4th slip.
Seales is bowling well today, lively pace and testing line and length. Four slips and a short leg in place

I.Thorne
J.Seales/G.Motie depending upon the worm pasture
I think Isai Thorne is going to be a fine bowler.

Young Jayden is among the wickets again in the second innings...for the second time in the match, he has removed both openers

A little amazing how A Joseph is still deemed to be a fixture after his current test record. Seales and Shamar have come after him and both have outbowled him in the few tests that they have played. Perhaps a more correct assessment is Alzharri or Motie depending on conditions.

Seales is an overhyped bowler....has played most in seaming conditions at home....his pace is 130's km....he is also injury prone.... with Roach nearing retirement.........my opinion..
McAllister
Phillips
Thorne
& Few others will surely supersede him

You might probably right except you are not. Seales already has a better test record than Alzharri. McAllister is yet to prove he is as good as Tino. Thorne has some potential but cannot be rushed into senior cricket lest he end up injured like Alzharri, Seales, Ian Bishop etc before him.

While he isn't as fast as the others, Seales problem is injuries more so than talent. He is a bowler with each way movement at 130-135k and accurate unlike most. He is a wicket taker unlike Alzharri who tends to be all over the place sometimes.

Nice to read an intelligent, sensible and observant post about the bowler, only about 50 words but you get a very good idea about the bowler J.Seales.

I will keep the faith in the lad.
I believe he is coachable...
He needs a good physio...and to listen and follow advice.
That is easier said than done when youngsters giving plenty competition for a spot in the Bowling line up.

Records at times flattering.....
Seales played 10 test .....9 at home.....He was poor at home against South Africa....in seaming conditions...did well against Pakistan & Bangladesh.....was below average against England....
But his away performance in 1 test in Australia was abysmal...conceded 113 runs , took 1 wicket...
Argument maybe that only 1 test but Shamar got World famous by playing only 2 away test...
He was very poor against South Africa A in South Africa.....also got injured...
One of justified criticism of Roach is.....his away record is poor....the small sample away performance of Seales is worse than Jordan...

Seales is nice young lad but the disappointing aspect....he bowls 130's and also injury prone...
His limited away stats very poor....
As for Alazari....he has improved...leaps and bounds in last two years in white and red ball...he was exceptional against Australia with ball and bat....bowled 145 km plus.....rattled the Aussie...
My opinion.....Seales gets into playing XI only , if and only if increase his pace....or as stock bowler...but then stock bowler has to bowl 18- 20 overs but he can't because of fitness.....
In this regional competition...few fastermen
Layne
Smith
Phillips
All bowling in 140s....swing....wickets...

The supporters must be trini not bajan. Not when Barbados produced Martindale, Hall, Griffith, Marshall, Garner et al. Trinis that had no pacers in that class might understandably call Roach great ... not bajans. You too love a straw man dressed in aquamarine and gold. Lol
Kemar Roach & his supporters would beg to differ

Appreciate the positive post. Too bad it had to degrade so quickly into the usual regional bile

Barbados has not produced a great player in over 40 years. And Ian bishop was as talented as any bajan pacer except maco. In fact Colin Croft thought he would have been the best West Indian pacer ever had it not been for chronic back injuries. And Charlie Griffith was a pelter
