Where and when? We don't have good clubs nor a competitive FC tourney anymore.
Mediocre playing mediocre will never produce competition. Some flashes in the pan yes but not true and real consistent competition

Dem playing a game of survival.

This bunch should not br judged on scores. Management need to give them the freedom to express themselves. The measure should be whether the applyvthr right technique to each delivery, generally.

Athanaze and Hodge did that as far as i saw yesterday.

Interestingly, based on what has transpired so far, the best West Indian batsmen on show are Louis, Hodge, and Athanaze.

And I talkin about how they shape up. Not production…..yet anyway

My issue so far with Louis is that the yute trying to look too pretty. It's well understood now that he has some ability.

But agree about Hodge and Anthanze

They get bogged down...which leads to pressure

How many matches you going give athnaze to find himself 6 matches without a half century. I have not seen anything in louis so far but lead feet even brathwaith moves his feet more than him

Iim not calling for anyone unlike some people here who just want to see some people from their own territory it is the same thing every year some guys get some runs in a weak fc tournament and wunna hyping them up .

Listen we are a very weak, flash-in-the pan team. When Tendulkar was retiring India invited the WI bunnies so he would be under no bowling threat and he could go out in style. When Baz and Stokes approached Anderson and told him it was time to retire, they reminded him that he would go out in glory as it was the worse batting side in the world. Their only mistake was in picking a hungry fast bowler on debut. He was not supposed to take 7 wickets but he spoilt the retirement party. But Andeson has taken and will take 2nd innings wicket.
I am.not sure if we have any talent but what I am sure of is that they are not prepared to do the hard work 24/7 like Shiv and Kohli and they definitely lack brains.
Outside of the batting none of our bowlers can bowl 2 good balls in an over. How is that acceptable? Is there a bowling coach? Do they listen?

The bowling coach’s nickname is “WILD THING”…what do you expect?

We should nothing to say about our bowlers/bowling when we cannot put 200 plus runs on the score sheet. You scoring 121 runs and 79 fi 6 and placing blame on bowling?? At out best, teams have put up scores against us, but we knew, back then, that we had a formidable batting lineup to back the bowlers.

Yes, the bowlers, can be better with their consistency, but the ELEPHANT in the room is the WEST INDIES batting attack or lack thereof.
