I really do not want to hear of CPL, it is just garbage, on the other hand it seems to reflect who we are as a people

Might be garbage to you but worth millions to others,I mean millions of dollars.West Indies cricket was heading in this direction and it's now,the reason is, favourite islands had their players picked before better players.Things can get worse, because the USA is developing fast and a number of Asians will be wearing USA colours in the future,I expect some players from certain regions in the Caribbean will revert to playing for the USA one day.We will then have to pick players that would have never seen a West Indies team in their lifetime, maybe 5 or 6 test matches at most, then dropped forever.

I do not understand what you are talking about favorite Island had their players picked, the truth is, this is the best WI can put on a test field at this time, it just shows how small the pool of players
are to choose from and where we are at this point in time of our history.( the struggle to continue is getting to be too painful)

Hi Javed,

For pure partying, the Trini Posse stand. To have a good view of cricket, possibly Stollmeyer stand. To get the atmosphere of cricket in the Caribbean, try one of the open stands, like the Carib Beer stand (not sure if this is still the name) but it is on the south east of the ground. Just be careful of your surroundings in TT at all times but it is a fantastic place to visit.
