The Knight Riders then applied the squeeze, courtesy of some help by the Falcons, who seemed to get their batting order all wrong, with their promotion of Primus, in particular, not paying dividends. Imad Wasim, though, did rectify things towards the end (to an extent). Allen also played his part with an 11-ball 25 and that has powered the Falcons to their highest score this season.
For the visitors, Narine bagged two, as did Salamkheil. The latter was perhaps the pick of the bunch, although Hinds did not fare badly, despite bowling two overs at the death. The Knight Riders, at this stage, will be content with the total they are chasing, although if they get there, they will have scripted a record chase. Join us in a bit for the second innings!
