Greaves played relatively few times for Barbados. When he scored that century he was not bowling because he had a back injury. He played one or two seasons for CCC (or was it an academy team?) with Josh DaSilva and made quite a few runs then batting at two or three down. Most of his recent red ball cricket has been with Leewards where, like Mayers and Bonner before him, he was pigeon-holed as an allrounder and put to bat well down the order behind lesser batsmen. He did not score big runs but his average has been decent. Credit to him for confirming his batting prowess as a Leewards franchise cricketer. Mayers and Bonner had to break back into their home country cricket to showcase their batting strength.

I thought so, John has been a fixture at Bristol for decades. Bristol is one of the better teams outside the First/Elite division

Anthony Greaves is his father.
A number of your homies joined Yorkshire when the club joined the BCA.
My brother was a member until he came to Canada in 74, Billet and him are buddies.

It is a good thing it is cricket and not horse racing; we would be borrowing money to repay our debts. sad

Cricket is a social platform in Bim, guys move from club to club. There are many Greaves in the Northern parishes.

You still don't get it, my brother and I played for Yorkshire when Justin was playing in Canada, my brother met him.
I got all my info from my brother who played with Anthony at Yorkshire.
I left Bim in April 1970, my brother joined me in 1973.
Anthony may have played for many clubs after leaving Yorkshire, but my bro knows his dad and uncle.
